Brianna Nguyen – Pharm D

Brianna grew up in Fremont, California. She graduated from University of Pacific with her pharmacy degree. Brianna loved her experience interning as a pharmacy student at Custom Care Compounding and was fortunate to have the opportunity to become a pharmacist and join the team after graduating.

Brianna enjoys being able to work with patients to help formulate the best therapy to meet their needs and offer solutions that aren’t available in other pharmacies. She finds the best part of her day is being able to pet the dogs, cats, and other animals that come into the pharmacy!

“After a 10-year career in retail pharmacy in the Midwest and California, I joined the Custom Care Compounding team in January 2023. I look forward to continuing to provide therapy through a patient-centered holistic approach. I am a dedicated patient advocate and I strive to make a positive impact on the local community.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling and exploring the local food scene with my husband and toddler.”

Sarah Lo – Pharm D

I choose to be a compounding pharmacist because we can provide innovative treatments to meet the unique needs of patients. Micro-dosing, flavoring and removing allergens are some of the easiest solutions we offer. “Providing customized care and seeing patients, both human and furry, with successful outcomes has been a great reward in my pharmacy career.

When not working, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my family and 2 dogs. We love traveling, hiking, sports, and all things Disney!”

“My years in pharmacy have taught me that there is not always a commercially made solution to a patient’s medication needs and that the pharmacist can help by actually customizing a prescription. It may be as simple as adding some flavoring or converting a tablet into a liquid. Sometimes it is as detailed as assisting a patient with bio-identical hormone replacement.

Pharmacy care sometimes requires creativity. Prescription compounding enables us to solve medication dosing, strength, and availability issues in a quick and cost-effective manner. Being able to help our customers, both human or animal, is one of the main reasons I chose to be a pharmacist.”
